JULIE’S BIO

I am a medical assistant, licensed esthetician, and a licensed esthetic instructor.

As a young lady I was was always interested in health, biology and natural sciences as well as beauty and natural healing using plants. The amazing body we were given and all of it’s functions and  processes fascinated me.

My first job, at the age of 18, was working as a lab assistant and phlebotomist for a doctors building that included dermatologists. I worked closely with the histologist and cytologist and loved learning more about the largest organ of the body, our skin. This first job set me on my career path to esthetics.
I continued by getting licensed in esthetics, licensed as a medical assistant, and licensed to teach esthetics. I have worked, managed, and taught in the esthetics and medical field for a combined 35 years to date. My work journey was filled with continuing education and product knowledge for esthetics.

I am excited to now share my gift of skincare and ingredient knowledge with Heart and Soul Food, my organic, natural, nutrient rich plant powered skincare line.
